TuCora can read an exported WhatsApp chat and show you, in numbers, what the conversation already says: who initiates, who replies, how much affection circulates and how the rhythm changed over time. All computation happens on your phone.
No metric is a verdict. The app won't tell you "break up" or "they're the one": it surfaces signals you don't see day to day, and the interpretation is yours.
It works best with two-person chats. WhatsApp date formats in Spanish and English are detected automatically.
A relationship chat is among the most intimate data on your phone. Uploading it to a server for analysis (even "securely") creates a copy outside your control. We prefer the simplest guarantee there is: never receiving the chat at all. The analysis engine lives inside the app; there are no network requests during analysis and we use no behavioral analytics SDKs. Technical details in security and the privacy policy.
Will the other person find out? No. They don't need to install anything, and the analysis doesn't interact with WhatsApp: it only reads the file you exported.
Does it use AI? Not for chat analysis. These are metrics computed with transparent rules (counts, timings, an affection lexicon). That's why it can run offline.
Does it work on old chats? Yes. The analysis describes the period covered by the chat you exported, on its own timeline. You can also save analyses from different dates and see the change between them.
Is it free? Chat analysis is part of Premium. The journal, relationship tracking and the online relationship check-in are free.
Does this replace therapy? No. TuCora is not a health app and gives no diagnoses; it's a tool for personal logging and clarity.
